Meeting schedule
This meeting took place at the Zuse Institut Berlin on May 22-23, 2008. The meeting discussed the second year of the project and the project deliverables. The following talks were given:
- Kompics: Reactive Component Model for Distributed Computing (Cosmin Arad and Seif Haridi).
- Distributed deployment with Oz (Jean-Bernard Stefani and Christophe Taton).
- Self Protection + Self* in Small World Networks (Felix Halim, Yongzheng Wu, Roland Yap).
- A Transactional Scalable Distributed Data Store: Wikipedia on a DHT (Thorsten Schütt, Monika Moser, Stefan Plantikow, Florian Schintke, Alexander Reinefeld).
- Consistency of Data in Structured Overlay Networks (Tallat M. Shafaat, Monika Moser, Ali Ghodsi, Thorsten Schütt, Seif Haridi, Alexander Reinefeld).
Participants to the meeting were Peter Van Roy, Boris Mejias, Yves Jaradin, Seif Haridi, Cosmin Arad, Tallat Shafaat, Jean-Bernard Stefani, Vivien Quema, Stefan Plantikow, Alexander Reinefeld, Thorsten Schütt, Mikael Högqvist, Roland Yap, Sameh El-Ansary. Roland Yap and Sameh El-Ansary participated through Skype.
